|Recommended: YesCollege Town Odyssey — Great building. Move in was so organized and the apartment was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The few issues I had were resolved within a day. My apartment chair was missing a cushion and they replaced the entire chair with a new one. Great management and service.

We do appreciate your 5 star review, Alec!
|Recommended: YesSufficient for college students — The location of the apartment is perfect. It was sufficient for what we needed for three years. However, driving in the parking garage is extremely dangerous. There are no mirrors and it’s been reported many times that near accidents have happened but yet nothing was done to rectify the situation.
We do appreciate your feedback, Tara! We will definitely bring your concerns to ownership's attention to see what can be done!
|Recommended: NoUsed to be great, but change is needed — When I first moved in, Collegetown was great and a relatively good value considering location and quality. 2 years later however, nothing has changed. There have been no new amenities and our rent has gone up dramatically. No pool, SEVERELY outdated gym seriously it's gross now and new equipment is desperately needed , and nothing else really to justify such a high rent. I moved in and there were paint splotches everywhere and the overall quality of the apartment isn't as great and you can see where management cheaped out to save a few bucks. That being said, maintenance, especially Josh, is fantastic and genuinely care about the patrons. Management is different.
Pam especially has mishandled a lot of things that has been frustrating. One of my friends was in Phase II when there was a flooding accident not a structural issue, someone kicked a pipe but management neglected it pretty badly. They were quick to get cleaning services and what not but the baseboards which were rotting weren't changed for over a month. On top of this, my friend was stuck in her apartment while they blasted multiple fans and dehumidifiers to try and dry the carpet wasn't replaced . They offered no compensation or a hotel room anywhere and there is most likely a lot of mold growing under the carpet.
She was incredibly rude during the entire process and has also been incredibly rude to me on multiple occasions. A standout is when my fire alarm, which starting going off unprompted in the middle of the day, was blamed on me despite me being at my computer and studying. She also refused to believe that our WiFi was down which almost cost me greatly as I was taking an online exam when it went down. She refuses to address any major issues with the complex which has become incredibly frustrating considering how much we spend in rent.
Collegetown was fantastic when I first moved in but considering how much we now pay in rent and the lack of improved amenities or quality has become incredibly frustrating. Maintenance is great, the desk workers are saints, but management continually drops the ball in so many ways.
We do appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback, Clayton. I have been in conversation with ownership as well as our vendor in regards to updating our Fitness Centers. Though our equipment is only 5 years old, we would like to add additional pieces and revamp the Fitness Centers. In regards to the Phase 2 incident, this damage was caused by a guest of a resident. I was on scene at 7am walking apartment homes making contact with every resident. I had Silver Lining on property since 6am that morning extracting the water. Then it was turned over to the maintenance team to replace any damaged baseboards. All apartment homes were inspected by Silver Lining and cleared. We would appreciate you not proclaiming there was mold within the apartment home that was not even your apartment as this is not the case due to the in depth inspection performed by Silver Lining. I do not recall having an encounter or even a conversation with you. Our residents are top priority to us and we treat them all as family. With that, I have built a strong relationship with most residents and parents here in CollegeTown.
On a daily basis, I conduct property inspections. Interior and exterior. To ensure that our community stays appealing to residents and visitors. The incident you mention regarding the alarm. There was never an incident of the alarm going off in phase 3 so I am unsure as to why you would state that.
Even though we do appreciate your feedback, we do request that you keep the information factual as myself and my team take our jobs seriously and to have fabricated reviews such as this defeats all the positive efforts we all make daily.
Even though you may not recommend CollegeTown, we are happy that you did renew your lease and look forward to building a stronger relationship and connection with you for the upcoming year.
